On tonight’s special Welcome-to-2016 edition of After Hours AM/America’s Most Haunted radio with Joel Sturgis and Eric Olsen, we preview the Death and Afterlife Telesummit with founder and co-host Terri Daniel. In the 9pE hour of the show Joel and Eric review and explicate news of the paranormal, weird, and amazmo; and in the 10pE hour we delve into the crucial topics of death and the afterlife with Rev. Terri Daniel of the Death Awareness Institute, and founder of The Afterlife Conference, now entering its sixth year.
The Death and Afterlife Telesummit is a free virtual conference running January 14-17, which also functions as a preview of this year’s sixth annual live-and-in-person Afterlife Conference, convening in St Louis, May 12-15. For the free, four-day Telesummit, twelve leaders in end-of-life care, afterlife research, bereavement, mediumship, shamanism, and contemporary theology will focus on four main topics:
Bereavement – explore a deeper metaphysical understanding of death, trauma and loss.
Spiritual Exploration – use mediumship to trace the soul’s journey with live readings.
Science and Spirit – latest research about consciousness after death.
Clinical Applications – learn how to work with spirituality in medical settings.
Here’s the Death and Afterlife Telesummit schedule, open to everyone with free registration!
Conferences with Austyn Wells, Suzane Northrup, and Thomas John include live readings over the phone.
Afterlife Summit founder and co-host Terri Daniel is an ordained interfaith minister, a clinical chaplain and an intuitive counselor who assists dying and grieving individuals to discover a more spiritually spacious understanding of death and beyond. Her unique perspective on birth, death and the journey of the soul helps the dying and the living find meaning and healing through meditative and ritual practices that open a conduit to other dimensions. Her “radical mysticism” incorporates elements of Buddhism, Shamanism, ancient pagan practices, gnostic Christianity, and other spiritual traditions to break down limiting beliefs about forgiveness, divine judgment and negative experience. Terri replaces these beliefs with an empowering vision of a co-created universe where there are no victims or perpetrators, only souls seeking expansion and awareness. Terri is the author of three books on death and the afterlife: A Swan in Heaven: Conversations Between Two Worlds; Embracing Death: A New Look at Grief, Gratitude and God; and Turning the Corner on Grief Street: Loss and Trauma as a Journey to Awakening.
