Psychic medium Kristy Robinett‘s new Messages From a Wonderful Afterlife (Llewellyn, Aug 8) expands on her previous book, It’s a Wonderful Afterlife, wherein she shares more personal experiences and stories from clients of how our loved ones – including pets – are communicating from the other side. This reassuring book teaches readers how to identify “heaven hellos” from those in the afterlife and interpret the signs and symbols that often appear, such as finding coins or feathers; feeling an invisible touch or shiver down your spine; seeing a shadow out of the corner of your eye; smelling a familiar scent; hearing your deceased loved one’s voice; being visited by a special animal or insect.
Messages from a Wonderful Afterlife also provides advice on taking care of yourself while you’re grieving and supporting others through times of hardship. With Kristy’s guidance, you’ll become more aware of your loved ones in spirit and be assured that they’re always with you.
In the book’s intro, Robinett writes, “Death is so hard on the living. Some believe death is the ultimate defeat. I dare to disagree and often explain to my clients that I sometimes envy those who’ve crossed over because they are the ones who are truly living.
“My own first taste of death came when I was just three years old and an older lady came to me in spirit to tell me that my grandma was going to die. I simply passed the message on to my mom, unknowing that dying was a horrible thing. The response that I received was a spanking. When my grandma passed just a few months later, and my predictions and communication with the Other Side was truer and real, my parents decided to enroll me early into the local Lutheran school. Not only would it keep me busy but they hoped that it would eradicate whatever demons that I was in communication with. To their dismay, I still saw, heard, knew, and sensed, but instead of expressing that I saw life after death, I stopped passing along the messages. I began to understand that what was normal for me wasn’t normal for everyone.”
